Be part of the experimental Hackership Batch 0

Hello OpenTechSchool community,

As you’ve probably already heard, the OpenTechSchool Team in Berlin will be offering a 3-months full-time learning programme for experienced hackers from this winter, called Hackership.

But what the blog post doesn’t say is that we are also bootstrapping an experimental batch before, the “Batch 0” [/băch zē’rō/]. And we are still looking for people to join.

This private batch with friends and family of the OpenTechSchool will take place Nov. 11th until Dec. 19th 2013 (so just 6 weeks) at a sponsored venue in Berlin. The idea is to try out the concept, make the rookie mistakes and learn how to run things properly. So the shape of the later programme will be highly influenced by those taking part in this batch. And as it is just half the time and still experimental, learners are asked to pledge to donate only 7.5% of their first years income to the OpenTechSchool to keep the programme running.

So if you want to participate as a learner, want to join as a Hacker in Residence or are just willing to help out and volunteer some of your time to make this happen, please fill in this form and we’ll get back to you. Deadline is August 31st, 23:59 Berlin-Time.

Looking forward
Ben
