Data Scientist to join the Signale team at the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin! Focus on machine-learning methods and web applications

The Signale team of the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin is hiring a data scientist (focus on machine learning and web-application development) to help fight infectious diseases!

For the ESEG project she or he will develop and implement signal detection methods, conceive und run simple simulations, and present the results as well as the data collected in the project in an interactive dashboard. This will be done with in collaboration with academic AI researchers of the Knowledge Engineering group of the TU Darmstadt as well as the software company Epias.

Application deadline is 19 August 2018.

Main requirements:

  • M.Sc., M.Eng. or Uni-Diplom in Informatics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences or a similar domain
  • One year experience or more in Data Science, preferably in many-persons projects, or an advanced applied project during studies
